Party

I don’t know how you’ve been but I’ve been exhausted lately. The return to work was extra long and took all my energy. I’m so happy it’s finally Saturday. I’m going to go make myself a smoothie, perhaps go for a swim and do anything I can to stay calm and peaceful.

It’s time to nurture my soul.

It’s time to write a little.

It’s time to relax.

It’s time to eat something out of the ordinary.

So as you can see, I have weekend goals. It’s going to be relaxing. If i can, I’ll stay in my pajamas for most of the time. My RITA books (the books I’m judging for the RITA awards for Romance Writers of America will be on my doorstep in a week. I cannot wait to delve into a story where the hero and heroine fall in love. I hope I get something I love and no we can never discuss the books we receive. It would be unfair, but the way I’m feeling now. I need to fall into a story and get lost for a while.

This might nurture my soul. It’s going to be epic to simply sit and be calm. If anyone knows me in person, I’m ALWAYS on the go. These days have changed me, but I’m sure I’ll be back to my train-engine-that-keeps-going personality soon enough. Right now it’s time to stop, breathe, relax, and if I had flowers smell the flowers.

I hope your weekend is epic too. This is my big plan.
