So today began with an amazing swim in the pool. Usually Wednesday’s begin for me as getting breakfast and heading out the door to work. I’m so happy Veterans Day exists and we get to honor those who served. I get to enjoy my life because someone was willing to stand up. I teach AP US History and AP US Government full time so  I speak often about how America works and my students have said ‘you’re so American.’ Perhaps it was the New England in me. I don’t know, but I do know I’m happy for today.

I spent my summer first in New York for RWA and then I went to Iran for a month to meet my in-laws. While I was in Iran, Winter Peril came out. I don’t know there laws there so I did no advertising. I don’t want to use the internet and have anyone link a romance novel with some sex in it (I am not E.L. James and writing erotica here though I’m not writing inspirational either. An agent asked me once how hot out of 50 shades my romances could be and I answered 25. I don’t want to be pigeon holed.) Either way as it’s not zero shades of hot I didn’t do anything to advertise the book. I had a great time, but from this experience, I appreciate my freedoms here even more.

So today is all about the Veterans. Yeah. The rest of my day  I’m about to rewrite Mything the Throne to make that story shine. In the meantime, I’m hoping you have remembered to help me out and vote for Stormy Peril in Kindle Scout this month. https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/19MWTS7CDJODQ
